Langtang Lirung Expedition

Mt. Langtang Lirung is one of the well-known 7000m. peak which lies on the center north of Nepal and near to Tibet border a head of Langtang village. British team ascent of Langtang Lirung (7234m.) in 1973. Having established base camp, successful acclimatization ascents were made on Tsherku Ri, Yala Peak, Urkin Ma and Naya Kanga. The summit attempt by two of the team on Mt. Langtang Lirung, via the South East Ridge in 1973. Mt. Langtang Lirung offers several climbing routes accessible from Kyanjing Gompa of Langtang Valley. We start our trip from Shyabru Besi (1462m.), Kyanjing Gompa (3049m.) to the Base Camp. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.Day 02: Kathmandu free.Day 03: Official works for expedition and briefing by officer of Ministry of Tourism.Day 04: Kathmandu – Syabru Besi 1462m. by Bus then Overnight.Day 05: Syabrubesi – Lama Hotel 2240m.Day 06: Lama Hotel – Langtang Village 3307m. Day 07: Kyanjing Gompa (3049m). Day 08: Kyanjing Gompa rest for acclimatization day and preparation.Day 09: Langtang Lirung Base Camp and set up the camp. Day 10-23: Climbing Period of Langtang Lirung 7234m. Day 24: Cleaning up Base Camp and preparation to back Kathmandu. Day 25: Base Camp – Langtang Village. Day 26: Langtang Village – Lama Hotel. Day 27: Lama Hotel – Shyabrubesi and transfer to Teahouse Lodge.Day 28: Syabru Besi – Drive back to Kathmandu then transfers to Hotel.Day 29: Free days in Kathmandu. Day 30: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.
